A variety of artists contributed tracks to this release including, Herb Pililaau - Frank Leong - Tropical Green - Na Mele O Pu'u Wai - Tim Coffman - Sarah Maisel and Marchand Melcher. Each of the musicians bring a fresh vibe to classic Hawaiian songs like Hanalei Moon, Waikiki, Kauai Beauty, Aloha I A O Waianae, Pauoa Liko Ka Lehua and Aloha Oe`. Tim Coffman contributes a feisty arrangement of the perennial Hawaiian favorite Island Style and shares vocal credits with Herb Pililaau. Marchand Melcher sings the song Kalua in a contemporary mood with all of the ambience and beauty of a Hawaiian sunset. Two island instrumentals; Ka Hula O Na Niu and Big Island Rodeo are also included. Both songs where nominated by the JPF International Music Awards for the 2009 song of the year (Hawaiian Music Category). Producer Tim Coffman, who is known for his love of the Hawaiian steel guitar, has featured it prominently on Ka Hula O Na Niu.
