Information about Tim Coffman & The Beach Boulevard Band. Tim is a local San Diego music producer that has garnered national and international attention with his 5 CDs of original music. The band normally travels with 7 musicians and Tim’s daughter Julie, usually sings with the band as well. This group is perfect for the southern California lifestyle. The music is fun, with good variety and is targeted toward genral audiences. Music styles included rock, surf, Hawaiian, R&B and dance music. It is instrumental with some vocals. The instrumentation includes:

Two guitars – bass – drums – keyboards - steel guitar/trombone - saxophone.

Band Members:
Tim Coffman/Bass: Tim works as a songwriter and producer for Rolltop Music, a
production company and music library. The music the band performs comes from Tim’s 5 original instrumental projects. “This is Fun (2002), “Nonstop to Paris (2003), “Beach & Guitar” (2004), “Music from Beach Boulevard” (2005) and “The Rhythm of Paradise” (2006). Bill Haworth/Piano: Bill started his professional musical career in the
Washington D.C. area in 1969, as a member of the Army Band. He has a BME degree from Indiana University and a Masters of Music degree from Catholic University. After relocating to San Diego, Bill played piano with the Bill Greene Orchestra from 1982-1998 and has also worked with Frankie Lane and Patti Page. Bill is currently the Music Director for the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival.

John Rekevics/Saxophone: John has worked as a musician with many notable
artists including Natalie Cole, Lou Rawls and Randy Newman. As a studio musician, John has performed on numerous CDs, jingles and TV shows. John is also a professor at San Diego State University.

Anthony Da Luz/Guitar: Anthony may be best known as the guitarist for the
popular San Diego group, Robert Vaughn and the Shadows, which were signed to Island Records from 1991-1993. Anthony has written many songs including “You Could Be Mine” which won a San Diego Music Awards song of the year award. Anthony is also a studio musician.

Gary Santo Pietro/Guitar: Local San Diego guitarist and songwriter, Gary has
worked as a guitar player in bands and as a session musician. He enjoys many different styles of music and has performed as a solo guitarist at numerous weddings and parties.

Steve Michaelson/Drums: A graduate of the Dick Grove's (School of
music percussion) in Los Angeles, Steve has worked as a studio musician in the LA and San Diego area. He also conducts drum workshops and gives private lessons.

Tim Cooke/Steel Guitar/Trombone: Tim has been a full-time musician in San
Diego for 20 years. He has worked with artist as diverse as the Beat Farmers and Lawrence Welk’s champagne lady. Tim is currently working with a several groups including a Polynesian review.
